	USBC/MLB partner for upcoming Championship Tournament Looking for a new way to recognize your state tournament champions? How about having them stand on a baseball diamond with 40,000 fans cheering them on? That's exactly what the Arizona State USBC will do for its champions this season. The 2010 Arizona State Tournament championship teams will be recognized at Chase Field prior to the July 11 game against the Florida Marlins. That also is the date for “USBC Day” at Chase Field; all bowlers entering the USBC Open Championships and Women's Championships will receive a free ticket to the game. USBC launches new online store On Dec.28, USBC launched usbcsportstore.com, a one-stop shop featuring all new merchandise. The new store features men's and women's polos, tops, fleece and jackets. You can purchase merchandise without decoration, or you can have it embroidered with select logos or personalize it with your name or your team's name. Soon, the store will have 2010 USBC Open Championships and Women's Championship logo merchandise available for sale. These items also may be personalized. Youth membership processing The next set of updates to the new processing system for youth memberships will be activated late next week. USBC is currently testing a function that will give associations the ability to synchronize their WinLABS with the national bowler database for youth tournament operations. When this new data transmission function is available, a special announcement will be made to associations through eNews. Please keep an eye on your e-mail the next few weeks for a status update. Youth mid-season averages Spring youth tournaments are right around the corner. Having mid-season averages will help with average verification for tournament managers. Association managers for merged and youth associations can help with this by entering the averages into the BOWL.com online processing system.
